Album Buying Guide

Gaon & Hanteo both measures sales of a group but they measure in different ways. 

Gaon counts B2B sales (JYPE sales to shops) (this is what counts towards year-end awards), so every album you bought is already counted towards gaon.

Hanteo counts B2C sales (Stays purchases from shops) of a proportion of stores (this counts to music shows)


So consider purchasing from Hanteo affiliated stores and if you are in the USA, consider purchasing from Hanteo and Billboard affiliated

Billboard counts sales in the USA (again similar to Hanteo from a number of affiliated shops)


Note the above billboard shops will only count if they are official (twitted by Stray Kids official account). 3rd parties (on Amazon for eg) wont count. Sales from outside of US wont be count towards Billboard.
