Some Q&A from reddit Stays

  • Will VIP packages be available?

    • Yes, each date will have them, and they will go on sale at the same time as regular tickets. Here are the perks:

      • Access to pre-show Artist Soundcheck

      • One premium reserved price level 1 ticket, best view of the stage

      • Exclusive VIP gift item

      • VIP laminated pass and lanyard

      • Early entry into the venue

      • Pre-show tour merchandise shopping opportunity

      • Designated check-in and on-site event staff

    • It has not been stated if VIP will cost more or the same amount as PL1 tickets, but they will most likely cost more. Example: For Twice's US dates, regular PL1 tickets cost $199.50 and VIP tickets cost $320.

  • Where will VIP packages go on sale?

    • Only on Ticketmaster. Both VIP packages and regular tickets will be offered for sale on TM on the same ticketing page for each date. The way you'll know a ticket is VIP is because there will be a star next to it and will cost more than $179.50 (it'll probably be about $300).

  • Where will the VIP seats be located?

    • Since VIP packages come with PL1 tickets, they will most likely all be located in the floor sections.

  • Will there be any presales, particularly for fan club (2nd gen STAY) members?

    • There will not be any presales.

  • How will ticketing work?

    • Tickets for all of the US dates will go on sale via Ticketmaster on Fri. April 22nd @ 3 pm local time for each venue (i.e. Kia Forum in Los Angeles will go on sale at 3 pm PDT).

    • TM uses a virtual queue to supposedly make it harder for bots to swipe tickets + to make it fairer for fans. As such...

    • 10 minutes before ticket sales officially start, a waiting room will open on each ticketing page. Join it when it opens, and you'll then automatically and randomly be assigned a spot in the virtual queue when it hits 3 pm. This happens all at once for everyone. That's why you can either be assigned a really good spot in line and can get in rather quickly, or be assigned a not-so-good spot and have to wait for quite a while until you're able to get in. And of course, the longer you have to wait, the less likely your chances are of getting decent seats.

    • Once you're in, you're able to choose whichever seats you want from the ones that are still available. You have to do this as fast as you can, or you risk losing them to another person. So before the sale starts, take a look at the seating chart for the venue you're going to and narrow down which sections you want to try for.

  • Can I make multiple Ticketmaster accounts in order to increase my chances at getting tickets?

    • Multiple accounts are not recommended.

    • For the recent Twice ticket sales in LA, TM was kicking people out of line if they were signed in to multiple accounts that were tied to the same phone number (to prevent scalpers from scooping up all of the tickets), and a phone number is required in order to set up a TM account.

  • Are there any general admission areas (i.e. the floor sections) at the venues?

    • It seems that all of the venues are assigned seating only with no GA areas.

  • What is the maximum number of tickets I can buy per date?

    • It varies depending on the venue. Please check the ticketing page for the date(s) you're going to to confirm what the ticket limits are. That being said, though, it seems that most venues list the limit as 6.

  • What are Ticketmaster's "Official Platinum" tickets?

    • Here is what it says on Ticketmaster.

    • But basically, it's TM scalping themselves. They pick out what they consider to be some of the "best seats" in the venue and mark up them rather significantly from the base price (i.e. a $200 ticket is now $600). It's probably best not to buy these, unless you're okay with overpaying.

    • Also, no Platinum seats will offer VIP benefits.

  • I'm on the shorter side. What tickets should I get?

    • Everyone is on the same level on the floor and it'll definitely be hard to see the stage if you're not very close, so either try for floor seats in the first front sections, or try for ones in the section 100s because every row is elevated + you will get an overall better view.
